In April, iHeartMedia named Muni Long as its ‘On The Verge’ Hip-Hop artist and Giovanni And The Hired Gun as its ‘On The Verge’ Rock artist. His interview with iHeartMedia KIIS 102.7 FM’s Ryan Seacrest, Tanya and Sisanie aired on iHeartRadio stations across the country at 7 p.m. local time. Styles delved into his groovy new album and how it feels to share new music with his devoted fans. Leading up to the release, iHeartMedia’s Z100 and KIIS FM hosted exclusive “Harry’s House” listening parties the week leading up to the album release for fans in New York and Los Angeles.

Several big names debuted new music with World Premieres across iHeartRadio stations, including Kanye West’s collaboration with late rapper XXXTentacion “True Love” on May 26 on all Hip-Hop and Rhythmic CHR stations and Moneybagg Yo’s “See What I’m Saying” on May 27 on all Hip-Hop stations. Jordan Davis’ “What My World Spins Around” had a new music spotlight on May 27 across all iHeartRadio Country stations and Panic! At The Disco’s “Viva Las Vengeance” debuted on June 1 with a World Premiere across iHeartRadio’s Alternative stations. 

Additionally, iHeartRadio’s Emily Curl had country singer Matt Stell on her “15 Firsts” series where he opened up about meeting his heroes, his big “I made it” moment and so much more. Later in the week, Curl also chatted with Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler, who went deep on making their sixth studio album “We,” which he started working on before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that it’s finally out, he talked about the fan reaction after such a long wait for the album.
