Hosted by Brian “B-Daht” McLaughlin, comedian, radio host and creator of "The Freestyle Funny Comedy Show," “I Didn’t Know, Maybe You Didn’t Either” is a historical docuseries rooted in black excellence and legacy.

Throughout Black History Month, B-Daht will showcase unknown and under-known Black history, including stories of hidden figures like Shirley Ann Jackson, the woman whose research powers today’s modern communication and FAMU’s Marching 100, the band that built an infrastructure of Black Excellence that others around the world would replicate. The new season will also spotlight global Black history moments including the Haitian Revolution, which led to the first free Black republic and the story of Yasuke, the African warrior who rose to samurai status in feudal Japan.
